Important Holiday Information

We are happy to inform you that major refurbishment works will occur over these school holidays. In our main administration block, our six upstairs classrooms and our staffroom are scheduled for refurbishment with three classrooms due for completion by the beginning of the 2021 school year. Work on the other classrooms will continue across term 1, 2021 with teachers and students from those classrooms to be housed in B and K blocks for term 1. Part of the work scheduled includes the removal of asbestos ceilings.  We therefore advise that entry to the school grounds will not be permitted whilst these works are occurring.  Swimming, tennis and vacation care programs will not be impacted as the removal works will be occurring at night.  We do, however, ask you to not enter the school grounds unless you are a participant in one of those programs and, when arriving and leaving please use the Central Avenue gate only.  All asbestos removal works will be completed by the new year but areas of the school grounds will remain fenced off as a building site.  At all times please pay attention to any signs in place.  We will also have works happening in G block amenities with new flooring being installed. 

Wishing our Ironside Community happy holidays! The office will re-open on Tuesday 19 January.  School resumes on Wednesday 27 January.
