Newsflash -11 February 2021 - Term 1, Week 3
Newsflash
Dear Parents,
Welcome to this weeks ‘Newsflash’.
This year we are trying new communication strategies. One of these strategies is re-thinking the purpose and frequency of our school newsletter. This year it is our vision to make the newsletter more a celebration of student learning and school ‘goings on’. We are planning to send out a full newsletter fortnightly.
During every other week – we intend to send a shorter ‘Newsflash’ of which this is the first for 2021.
We plan on maximising the use of our Schoolzine application in 2021 by sending more regular communication and Newsflashes to the specific year levels, sectors, ‘groups’ etc. for which the information is applicable. We are working towards more instantaneous communication directly to target audience(s), while balancing the whole of school community information.
A Block – Works in Progress
I thought the community may like to see ‘inside’ the temporary fencing that is on the grassy patch and have a quick look at our A Block refurbishment work. We are just over half way with the final three classrooms progressing very well. For those who would like to see inside the renewed staffroom, the P&C AGM and February meeting is approaching – see you there!
